Shub Guitars is a custom guitar shop based in Melbourne, Australia. Specialising in building one of a kind handcrafted guitars and basses, as well as instrument setups, modifications and repairs.
Our aim is to integrate the best characteristics of classic instruments while making something uniquely inspiring in terms of sound and playability. Each guitar is made by hand and every specification is truly flexible to suit any style of music or player.

Custom offset bass with Jazz configuration, Alder body, maple neck, finished in a shell pink nitrocellulose.

1902 - Head Gap Custom
Custom built for Head Gap recording studio. Alder body, roasted maple neck and Indian rosewood fingerboard. Custom hand-wound Shub pickups and finished in a shell pink nitrocellulose.

1901 - Jackson (Shock Friendly)
A full scale take on an EB-0 Double Cut. Oversized body to balance the 34" scale. Walnut stained alder body, set maple neck and wenge fingerboard. Thunderbird pickup in the neck and Lipstick in the bridge with a volume and blend control. Finished in a thin satin nitrocellulose.

1813 - Josh Sankey
Walnut stained alder body, Queensland maple neck, 25.5" scale Ziricote fingerboard and kitted out with Mastery hardware and Shub handwound Alnico V P90's. Finished in Satin nitrocellulose.
